It’s no secret that diamonds are a girl’s best friend. But true fashionistas know that shoes don’t fall too far behind. Ten years ago ladies were able to get the best of both worlds thanks to Stuart Weitzman and his extravagant stiletto that actress Laura Elana Harring had the privilege of wearing to Academy Awards in 2002. Adorned with 464 diamonds, this heel worth one million dollars was pure bliss to any woman’s eyes. Once our country hit the recession, this ostentatious accessory was off the market because the designer thought it was unfitting in such tough financial times.
Ten years after the debut of “The Million Dollar Shoe,” designer Stuart Weitzman is bringing it back and updating the silhouette. We can’t wait to see the 2012 version called “Millionairess,” on the red carpet at the Oscar’s in a few weeks. It remains a mystery of which Hollywood starlet gets the honor of fulfilling every woman’s dream. But we are predicting it to be a major nominee like Michelle Williams in honor of her role in My Week with Marilyn or possibly Hollywood A-lister, Angelina Jolie, in support of Brad’s big night. Thoughts/feelings/emotions???
