Red Carpet Roundup – BEST Dressed Emmys 2015

Even though the Emmys are always a bit of a tease until true awards season kicks off after the new year, the fashion definitely is not. Our favorite TV stars didn’t mess around last night with red carpet glamour, beauty and wit. While we won’t talk about our worst dressed picks, we’ll surely fantasize over the fashionistas below that KILLED it on the carpet.

The biggest statement of the night was the queen of chic, Kerry Washington, who attained her mixed metallic, mesh beaded number less than 72 hours after it hit the runway during New York Fashion Week at the Marc Jacobs show (props to her stylist). Next is Sarah Hyland who can do no wrong season after season. Last night she wore an off-the-shoulder Zac Posen gown that hugged her body perfectly. With a fresh cut the Modern Family Star wins class act of the night stunning everyone in sight with her timeless beauty and adorable body.

No meat, no problem and minimal makeup for Lady Gaga who came out on the carpet in a Brandon Maxwell one shoulder gown. Showing just enough skin to stay edgy, Gaga showed off her true natural beauty after all those years of shocking the carpet with over the top costumes, makeup and accessories to make a social statement. January Jones shows us how to pull off the couture green jumpsuit (a VERY difficult thing to do) by Russian designer, Ulyana Sergeenko. In an embellished plunging halter, Game of Thrones star Lena Headey demanded that carpet (as she should with her hit role) in Zuhair Murad. She looks comfortable, fashion forward and effortless. Other favorites of the night were Sarah Paulson in Prabal Gurung who brought the entire package, Ariel Winter in Romona Kevez, Emma Roberts in Jenny Packham and Aubrey Plaza in a sexy Alexadre Vauthier number.

Red Carpet Roundup: OSCARS 2014

Any fashionista that’s a part of the #RedCarpet tweeting cult knows how important awards’ season is in the industry. The styles worn are shown year round in magazines, blogs and the news and the looks are mimicked by department stores and sold across the nation. It’s a business in it’s entirety – but a stylish and I am OBSESSED with it. I am a tweeting machine during the red carpet portion of each award show, and it’s no shock that this year’s Academy Awards ended the season with flair. It was an all around fashionable night with the Vanity Fair after party attracting great style more than ever before. I’ve rounded up the best looks of the night at both the awards & the party and I need help in choosing which event was more fashionable! Take the poll below & tell me what YOU think!
