2016 Golden Globes Red Carpet

Last night deemed great fashion success on the red carpet at the most important awards show of 2016 (so far). Our favorite TV and movie stars graced us with a chic and polished presence in shiny sequined fabrics, plunging necklines, creative cutouts, winter whites and deep jewel tones.

Heads were turned and Twitter exploded with the fire emoji and hashtag, #SLAYED the moment Olivia Wilde stepped out of the limo onto the carpet. Wearing custom Michael Kors and adorned with Bulgari jewels, she screamed sexy, confident and fashion-forward with a loose pony and bold pink eyeshadow.

Also on my best dressed list is Alicia Vikander looking effortless, comfortable and feminine in a pleated, shiny, apron-style gown by Louis Vuitton. Sweet and sophisticated – this was the perfect choice to accompany her nomination for The Danish Girl.

Kate Bosworth dazzled in a pink, strapless, Dolce & Gabbana exquisite beauty while her skin was airbrushed perfection. She glowed from all angles with slicked back hair and a sheen soft makeup job. This is the type of all around look you could stare at forever… seriously I can’t stop staring.

Olivia Palermo in Delpozo, Zendaya in Marchesa and Brie Larson in Calvin Klen are also my best dressed this season remaining on trend and true to their style. Even though it was a shock to see J. LO in that much fabric, she took a fashion forward twist in a caped, Giambattista Valli, mustard gown and looked lovely. Laverne Cox in Elizabeth Kennedy, Julianne Moore in Tom Ford and Giuliana Rancic in Alex Perry sum up my dressed list of the 73rd Annual Golden Globes Awards.

See a complete list of my best dressed in the gallery below along with some fashion faux pas and pretty but predictables. (We won’t name names).
